IBM Technology Expert Labs ADVISE webMethods API Management Offerings

IBM Technology Expert Labs will provide deep, technical consultants specializing in webMethods API Management on Azure or hybrid cloud deployment models. Our subject matter consultants will work alongside your business and I/T stakeholders to provide end-to-end planning support for a solution or use case(s) that can be deployed rapidly, with minimal risk and with all the desired functionality.

Business and I/T Drivers may include:

• Need to augment your internal team's skills for a short term project (e.g., under-staffed while growing your technical teams)
• General staff augmentation needs on an ad hoc basis
• Acceleration to adopt best practices from experts while implementing to improve productivity
• Inability to investigate issues and concerns on current initiatives and gain confidence in your webMethods API Management environment (another set of "eyes")
• Need to gain hints and tips based on multiple engagement experience on how to leverage webMethods API Management capabilities for Azure or hybrid cloud
• Limited skills to create and manage APIs that are shielded from attacks with DMZ-strength security measures, helping to ensure data integrity and trust
• Requirement to reduce trial and error with the assistance of deep, product-oriented consultants with multiple customer engagement experience

Scope Activities and Key Deliverables may include:

(i) Recommending and mentoring on "how to" optimize your solution implementation

(ii) Providing insights and guiding on best practices methodologies

(iii) Instructing on "how to's" to mitigate risks on Azure or hybrid cloud architectures

(iv) Understanding how to manage the full API lifecycle treating your APIs as products - from planning to retirement - so they support your business strategy from Day 1 and consistently stay up to date

(v) Recommending how to create and manage APIs that are shielded from attacks with DMZ-strength security measures

(vi) Leading a series of workshops while recommending and documenting high level requirements, success criteria and creating a solution design overview for webMethods API Management

(vii) Documenting a plan, architecture and/or approach

Outcomes Desired may include:

• Any tried-and-tested solution template(s) that helps to accelerate deployment

• Custom design assistance with best practices applied to handle any API Management centralized administration, management and security needs

• Reviewing any automation best practices recommendations

• A plan, recommendations and/or architecture presented and documented

"Advise" category of offerings are recommended based on the weekly scope of activities defined in the Service Description. Pricing is based on a week’s fixed scope of activities (in certain situations less than 5 days) and estimated conversion from USD. Quantities of the part number offering required may vary depending on requirements.
