Assessment and Discovery of Non-X86 workloads to Azure
Persistent’s Consulting Services for Migration of Non-X86 Apps and Servers to Azure Cloud
This offering provides a structured 7-week engagement to help enterprises discover, assess, and plan the migration of legacy Non-X86 workloads to Microsoft Azure. It targets platforms that are traditionally complex and costly to maintain, such as: • Operating Systems: IBM AIX, HP-UX, Oracle Solaris • Applications: C/C++ and Java-based enterprise applications • Databases: Oracle, DB2, Informix, Sybase
Persistent leverages its proprietary Unix-based discovery and assessment scripts—developed in-house and refined through multiple enterprise engagements—to perform deep system introspection, dependency mapping, and workload profiling. These tools form the backbone of our IP-led assessment methodology, enabling faster, more accurate, and lower-risk migration planning. Persistent also leverages and have partnerships with Stromasys, SkyTap, SolarWinds etc.
