During this POC, we will take a look at the feature set of Arc-enabled Data Services, deploy a SQL Managed Instance on your own infrastructure and restore some data to it for testing purposes
This POC consists of multiple steps:
- Introduction to Azure Arc-enabled Data Services
- Introduction to Kubernetes
- Discussion on current landscape, data size and requirements on customer end
- Sizing recommendation for the POC system to be provided by the customer (alternatively the POC can be deployed and evaluated on cloud infrastructure)
- Deployment of Kubernetes, Azure Arc-enabled Data Services and an Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance
- Restore of customer data for testing purposes
- Handover of all scripts and configurations used
