The ability to create a matrix/column/field/calculatedFormulae that you can use in the entire Microstrategy without any fuss. As a frequent user, you need to create many calendar funtion in the Informatica that is required in almost every dashboard/report. So, it just need to create it one time only and use it everytime everywhere. This particular thing is not possbile in PowerBI/Altreyx/Tableu. Also, if the connnection is SQL then Informatica works like beauty.

Sometime, you need to do a double shift while creating the data set and it's connection and it's getting saved. I have raised this with Informatica Product developement team and showed them the issue in real time. They have accepted the issue but still not figured out the solution(last I have faced this in June 2022). Hope, they will update/fix in next update.

Leveraging Machine Learning for the preparation of Data and also for cataloguing. A valuable tool for data engineers to collaborate with others, sharing the workspace.

It is not easily synching with cloud platforms ( the cloud adoption is still not matured here ). The solution is hard to set up, and its interface is not user-friendly.

Domain discovery and data profiling features are the best. Since we are working with varied sources, now this tool can capture the metadata from these diverse sources very quickly and finally, after that moving to the central repository
