This AMI provides a production-ready, security-hardened Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS server pre-configured with reNgine, an automated recon framework. This includes additional code to automatically install, harden, configure, and manage the cluster of docker containers that power reNgine. Your instance will automatically update scanning parameters to take advantage of the full memory and vCores available on any size EC2 instance. Your auto-configuration will also automatically change the admin passwords of the web and database dashboards for greater security. If any reNgine containers crash, your auto-configuration will also troubleshoot and restart unhealthy containers to try and recover without your intervention.
