The Managed Services plan is offered through Azure Lighthouse for our CSP clients. This offering allows customers to purchase azure infrastructure and services under the Microsoft CSP program through MicroAge and grants the MicroAge Cloud Services team access to manage resources on your behalf. MicroAge offers comprehensive Azure services to ensure optimal performance and security. We proactively monitor Azure Services for any issues and create support tickets to minimize business impact and restore services quickly. Our team provides recommendations and comanagement with client to take necessary actions to address potential risks. We notify the client's security contact when Defender for Cloud alerts are generated, including Microsoft's recommended next steps for clients.

On a monthly basis, we review Defender for Cloud and provide recommendations for security improvements, configuration drift, and performance monitoring of Azure Virtual Machines (VMs). We also monitor Azure Subscriptions to optimize costs and provide action plans to enhance Recovery Point and Recovery Time Objectives. Additionally, we ensure all VMs are up-to-date with the latest security and quality patches and maintain the performance and reliability of in-scope Azure Services. Clients can also open support cases for technical issues involving these services.

Proactive Monitoring and Support

  • We continuously monitor Azure Services for any degradation, impairment, or outages, ensuring that issues are identified and addressed promptly to minimize business impact.

Comprehensive Security Management

  • Our team notifies the client's security contact when Defender for Cloud alerts are generated, providing Microsoft's recommended next steps. We also conduct monthly reviews of Defender for Cloud to offer security recommendations and implement them with client approval.

Performance Optimization

  • We monitor the performance of Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) for CPU, disk, RAM, and operating system performance to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.

Cost Efficiency

  • We review Azure Subscriptions to identify unnecessary consumption and provide recommendations to optimize costs, ensuring that clients get the most value from their Azure investments.

Disaster Recovery and Maintenance

  • We provide action plans and recommendations to improve Recovery Point and Recovery Time Objectives. Additionally, we ensure that all VMs are up-to-date with the latest security and quality patches, maintaining the performance and reliability of in-scope Azure Services.

Client Support

  • MicroAge will work with Microsoft Azure support to open support cases for technical issues involving in-scope Azure Services, ensuring access to expert assistance when needed.
