This Jenkins Accelerator provides for hassle-free, scalable, enterprise ready deployments. This VM workload has no usage limits. It can be scaled-up or scaled-out to meet your specific environments needs.

How to Use:

Jenkins is running a Linux service. It is configured to restart and is ready to launch out of the box. Once the VM instance starts, access Jenkins via the following: "http://publicDNS:8080/" or "http://azureIP:8080/".

Jenkins Configuration

  • ssh to the server
  • sudo systemctl status jenkins
  • Note: you will be able to obtain your initial administrative password once the instance starts

Default ports:

  • SSH: 22
  • HTTP: 8080

Open the terminal and run the following command to get the default Jenkins unlock password:

sudo cat /var/lib/jenkins/secrets/initialAdminPassword

In the web browser: paste the code in the Administrator password field in the Jenkins unlock page and click Continue.
