SmartSpace tracks the location and movement of objects in defined spaces using configurable business rules and reporting.

Overview

Ubisense SmartSpace® is a highly configurable software platform that tracks the real-time location, interaction, and status of both people and objects in physical spaces. Raw coordinates are turned into meaningful location events that can be monitored, controlled, and reported.

This AMI is a Windows Server with SmartSpace installation and accompanying development tools. It includes an example dataset that uses a live location data feed to demonstrate a working location-aware application.

Shared Image Gallery (SIG) Image

A SIG Image is a virtual machine image that provides the information required to launch an instance.

Azure Virtual Machine instances are virtual servers on which you can run your applications and workloads, offering varying combinations of CPU, memory, storage, and networking resources. You can launch as many instances from as many different SIG images as you need.

Usage Instructions

The SmartSpace Azure VM environment is a development environment for SmartSpace, with an example dataset that shows how live location data can easily be integrated to create a location-aware application.

Capacity permitting, you can create any number of your own datasets on the same host (but you may only run one at a time).
