Smart Industries Readiness Assessment – for Manufacturing
The Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) encompasses a suite of frameworks and tools to help manufacturers – regardless of size or industry – start, scale and sustain manufacturing transformation
Finding out the current state of a company in regards of the digital transformation path is crucial for making the right decisions of where to invest and where to have quick wins. It is also important to define the right strategy considering the planning horizon, business value impact and where are my industry peers in comparison to me. The Smart Industries Readiness Assessment is the first step towards defining this strategy and becoming a smart factory. Orange Business has certified assessors that can guide you and your leadership team along all the way. The SIRI assessment consists of 3 phases: Phase 1: Planning, preparation and Pulse Check. It includes a pre-assessment workshop to brief the client about SIRI and the assessment process understanding the company's KPIs and cost structures (e.g data request, workshop). Phase 2: Assessment Workshop It includes carrying out of the Official SIRI Assessment where the client's manufacturing facility is physically evaluated. This is normally 2-3 days onsite. Phase 3: Analysis and Review It includes the post-assessment debriefing session, where analysis of the assessment report and discussion on the next steps are provided. The outcome of the assessment will be 4 focus dimensions with recommendations – according to the industry of the customer – of how to tackle them. Orange Business can further support on deepening on some of these focus dimensions, by building a very specific delivery plan with the customer. There are several options according to the customer’s needs.
Relevance with Microsoft Azure: Azure supports the digital transformation journey identified in the SIRI assessment. Azure's data analytics capabilities can be used for analyzing the findings from the assessment. Azure offerings can be tailored to the specific industry needs identified during the assessment.
